LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The holiday season is here and students are wrapping up finals week. While most students will take part in the winter break before the start of the spring semester, LMU basketball will be quite busy and fans can spend the holiday season with the Lions.

LMU men's and women's basketball will host three doubleheaders during the break to close out the 2009 portion of the schedule. The action starts this Saturday, Dec. 19 when the women take on Cal Poly at 1:00 p.m., while the men take on Cal State Bakersfield at 3:30 p.m.

The action continues on Monday, Dec. 21, when the women start the doubleheader at 6 p.m. with San Diego State. The men follow at 8:00 p.m., taking on Long Beach State. The final Holiday Doubleheader will feature a double-dip with Seattle. The women tip-off at 5:00 p.m., the men at 7:30 p.m.

Special holiday pricing is available for the three Holiday Doubleheaders at Gersten Pavilion. Fans can come watch both games for one low price. Crimson chairbacks will be $15 and upper level seating will be $10 ($5 for child/seniors) and includes both games. That's $5 off the original price for men's basketball and up to a $15 savings for both games.

All the games will be broadcast live on KXLU 88.9 FM.
