Los Angeles, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount mens and womens cross country teams competed at the Aztec Invitational Saturday, hosted by San Diego State at Balboa Park. The Lion men placed 10th in the open division, while the LMU women carded a 14th place finish.

Senior Mark Siegfried finished first among the LMU men in 29:06, 27th overall. Junior Jenny Atkinson led the Lion women for the third consecutive week at 21:09 in the 5K race. She placed 37th.

Loyola Marymount resumes its racing schedule next Saturday, Sept. 23 at the UC Riverside Invitational.
