Satre joined LMU in September 2018 as an Assistant Athletics Director of Compliance, and promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director of Compliance in July 2021.. He is responsible for day-to-day compliance operations and leads the department in education, monitoring, and enforcement of NCAA rules and regulations. Satre also serves as the administrator for the men's soccer, men's rowing, and women's rowing programs.
Prior to arriving at LMU, Satre served as an Assistant Director of Compliance at Pepperdine University where his responsibilities included assisting in day-to-day compliance operations. He also assisted with the direction of the Waves Leadership Council (student-athlete advisory committee). He started his career as an intern with the Butler University Athletics department before moving on to serve as a graduate assistant in the compliance office with the Auburn University Athletics department.
A native of Ogden, Iowa, Satre attended Iowa State University before transferring to Butler University and earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He was a member of the football team at both Iowa State and Butler. He went on to receive a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration and Sports Management from Auburn University.
