Following six successful seasons as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for LMU Athletics, Lacee Diamond moved into the Business and Finance department as the department's new Director of Business Affairs prior to the 2019 school year. In July 2021, Lacee was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director.
 
Lacee joined LMU Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer prior to the start of the 2013 athletic seasons.  She worked for six seasons in that role with various sports including Women’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, Tennis and Cross-Country.  
 
In, 2014, Lacee was awarded a Masters of Business Administration from Washington State University to add to her previously earned Masters in Athletic Training from Montana State University-Billings.  Combining those two skill and experience sets, Lacee accepted the position as the department’s Director of Business Affairs in 2019.

Before coming to LMU, Lacee was an ATC at Washington State University, where she had worked since 2009. While working at WSU, Lacee served as an athletic trainer for various teams, including rowing, men's and women's track and field and cross country.  

The native of Nevada City, Calif., Lacee has gained a wide range of experience, working at various schools across the country including St. Bonaventure in New York, and Northwestern University in Illinois.  She has worked with a variety of sports including men's and women's soccer, basketball, women's fencing and softball programs.

Lacee earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Physiology.  While at U of A, Lacee worked in the Athletic Training Center where she assisted with student-athletes’ treatments, managed practice set-up and had the opportunity to observe patient surgeries.
