Tom Ronan

Tom Ronan is an experienced coach and educator with a diverse background in cross-country, track, and triathlon coaching at various levels. 

Tom served as the Head Coach for the Women's and Men's NCAA Division III Cross-Country teams at Worcester State University, where his leadership helped secure the school's first-ever MASCAC Conference championship. He also coached two NCAA DIII Championship qualifiers and numerous conference champions. With 20 years of coaching experience at the high level, Tom has mentored numerous regional and national qualifiers, including one Foot-Locker national qualifier. As the owner and head coach of MRA Coaching and Training, he helped athletes achieve remarkable feats, from USA Triathlon national qualifiers to Ironman finishers.

A former standout distance runner and pole vaulter at North Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Tom also served as a U.S. Navy search and rescue swimmer before pursuing his education at UMass-Boston and the University of Maryland. In addition to his coaching/recruiting role here at LMU, he currently teaches science at Sage Hill School in Newport Harbor, CA.
