Ben Wood joined the Loyola Marymount University athletics staff in 2026, bringing experience in athletic communications, digital media, content production and sports marketing.
Wood has worked with LMU Athletics in several capacities, including as a communications assistant and as the content producer for the Lions’ beach volleyball program. In those roles, he has managed digital and social content, written recaps and features, produced photo and video coverage, supported gameday communications and helped develop content surrounding LMU student-athletes and teams.
Wood previously served as marketing manager for AVP Pro Beach Volleyball, where he worked across digital content, event marketing, partnerships and promotional initiatives. He has also led marketing and media efforts for the Wedbush presents Hermosa Beach Volleyball Open.
A 2024 graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Wood earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing.
