Senior… Played in all 32 games… Scored 13 goals on the season with 11 assists for 24 points… Added 11 steals and ranked third on the team with 13 field blocks… Won her only sprint of the season against Biola (Jan. 25)… Scored two goals against #17 Michigan (Feb. 28)… Scored a goal and recorded an assist and a steal in the GCC Tournament win over San Diego State (Apr. 26)… Named to the GCC All-Academic Team… Named to the ACWPC All-Academic Team with Excellent Recognition (3.40-3.20 GPA).

2024
Junior… Played in 27 games… Scored 14 goals on the season with 13 assists for 27 points… Totaled six steals and three field blocks… Went 2-0 on sprints… Scored two goals in four games: Cal Lutheran (Jan. 27), #23 CSUN (Feb. 9), Redlands (Feb. 23), and Santa Clara (Mar. 9)… Recorded three assists twice, against Salem (Jan. 20) and Ottawa Arizona (Feb. 23)… Scored a goal and recorded an assist in the GCC Championship semifinals against #23 San Diego State (Apr. 27)… Named to the GCC All-Academic Team.

Sophomore… Scored two goals on the season and added an assist for three points.. Totaled two steals and a field block… Scored in the conference games against California Baptist (Mar. 24) and #24 San Diego State (Apr. 21)… Recorded two steals in the GCC Tournament win over Santa Clara (Apr. 28).

Freshman… Scored one goal on the season against #22 Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 12)… Recorded two steals.
 
BEFORE LMU... Graduated from Laguna Beach High School in June of 2021… Competed in two sports in high school, water polo and swimming… Three-time All-CIF player… CIF D1 champions 2019 + 2021… Competed four SET water polo for four years… Junior Olympic Champion in 2019.
 
PERSONAL... Mikayla Lopez was born in Laguna Beach, California… Is the daughter of Jack Lopez and Maria Peruzzi-Lopez… has one sister, Isabella... Volunteered with a Molokai Church trip… Received the Honors Mandarin Award and History Award.
