Freshman… Scored a goal against Ottawa Arizona (Jan. 29)… Added a steal against Santa Clara (Apr. 2). 
 
BEFORE LMU... Graduated from Sonora High School in June of 2021… Competed in two sports in high school, water polo and swimming… Two-time All-CIF and All-Conference player… All-American as a junior… Most goals scored both boys and girls… Tied for most goals in MaxPrep JR year… ODP central team 2016-2020… CIF Sac Joaquin D3 MVP… CIF Sac Joaquin D3 All section team… In swim, school record holder for 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke… Played for American River Water Polo (2015-2017, 2019-2021) and Big valley Water Polo (2017-2019)… Won JO gold 1st place in 2019.
 
PERSONAL... Megan Slater was born in Oakdale, California… Is the daughter of John and Casey Slater… Mother, Casey, swam collegiately at University of Wyoming… has one sister, Sam, who swam collegiately at Pepperdine... Volunteered as a swim and water polo coach… Received the Block S Award and member of the Honor Society… Majoring in marketing.
