Lauren Frances Owens was born in Sacramento, Calif., and is the daughter of Patsy and William Owens... father swam at UConn... has a sister... volunteered with the Youth Leadership Institute and SPCA... also interned with Taler Arte Del Nuevo Americano (TANA), Peregrine Elementary School and the Pence Gallery... earned the Violet Richardson Award for leadership... a Studio Arts major.
