Biography

Briefly: Alyssa Barnuevo played one season at LMU… Helped lead LMU to a GCC Championship and return to the NCAA Tournament… Named First Team All-GCC and to the GCC All-Tournament Team… Ranked ninth in program history with 250 saves in a single season.

LMU:
2025: Played in 30 of 32 games, with 28 starts… Record over 857 minutes in the cage… Earned 17 wins for a record of 17-12… One of nine LMU goalkeepers all-time to total 250 saves in a single season… Finished with a .461 save percentage and 10.89 goals against average which both ranked second in the GCC… Ranked third in the GCC with 250 saves… Added 19 steals and 14 assists… Won eight consecutive games to help LMU finish the regular season with a perfect record in conference play at 7-0 and win all three games in the GCC Championships to win the tournament and advance to the NCAA Tournament… Totaled 11 games with double-digit assists… Recorded 15 saves with eight goals allowed, three assists, and a steal in the win over #10 UC Irvine (Feb. 28) to open Claremont Convergence… Won at #7 Fresno State (Mar. 22) allowing nine goals and making 12 saves in the double-overtime win to snap the Bulldogs conference home win streak… Totaled 26 saves over three conference games including making 11 saves in both the semifinal win over San Diego State (Apr. 26) and the finals win over #8 Fresno State (Apr. 27) to win the tournament… Made nine saves and allowed just 11 goals in the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal loss to #2 UCLA (May. 9)… Named Honorable Mention All-American… Named First Team All-GCC... Named to the GCC All-Tournament Team… Named to the GCC All-Academic Team… Named to the ACWPC All-Academic Team with Outstanding Recognition (4.0-3.71 GPA)… Named GCC Player of the Week on Mar. 27.
