A 2016 graduate of Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, Calif... three-year varsity letter winner swimming for Sue Miller... garnered All-League recognition in all three of her varsity seasons... took home All-State honors in her final two campaigns... named a scholar athlete all four years of high school... took home most improved award her sophomore year... swam for the Walnut Creek Aquabears swim club...
PERSONAL
Maya Loventhal... daughter of Ami and Jeffery Loventhal... has one brother, Riley, and a sister, Eliza... chose LMU because she fell in love with the school after visiting the swim team and seeing more of the campus, and she loves the location, academic opportunities, and how she is able to study and continue her love of swimming... volunteered her time teaching swim lessons to children of all ages with different levels of cerebral palsy.
