Briefly... Katie Rick is in her first season of collegiate water polo at LMU... played club water polo for NorCal, coached by former Olympian Chris Dorst... she is also a member of the LMU swim team...
High School... Graduated from Live Oak High School in Morgan HIll, Calif., in June 2010... won seven all-league honors in high school, three in water polo and four in swimming... scored 104 goals her senior season, adding 45 assists and 31 kickouts... was a 2010 Academic All-American... was named four-team All-CIF as a senior... also swam breaststroke, IM and freestyle... was a five-time Blossom Valley League individual champion.
Personal... Kathryn Lisa Rick was born in San Jose, Calif., and is the daughter of Lisa and John Rick...has a brother who is on the UC San DIego swim team... was an English Teacher at the Boccardo Center (for elementary-age children)... an Athletic Training major.
