2013-14...swam a personal-best time of 2:13.96 in the 200 butterfly at the 2014 MPSF Championships to place 21st and also added depth in the Lions[apos] sprinter squad with personal-best times of 24.65 in the 50 freestyle and 59.43 in the 100 butterfly... 2012-13... added depth to butterfly events with a strong showing at the MPSF Championships in the 100 and 200 butterfly, dropping her personal-best time by over two seconds in the 200... also contributed in 50 freestyle sprint event in dual meets throughout the season... voted 'Best Kicker' by teammates... 2011-12... swam a season best 24:94 in the 50 yard freestyle at the 2011 CA OB Arena Invitational... swam a season best 55.00 in the 100 yard freestyle in the 2011 CA OB Arena Invitational... swam a season best 59.86 in the 100 butterfly at the 2012 CA OBS MPSF Swimming and Diving Invitational... swam a season best 2:15.35 in the 200 butterfly at the same event... HIGH SCHOOL
A 2011 graduate of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif... a four-year varsity letterwinner under coach Michael Collins... garnered Mater Dei Coaches Award... an All-America Interscholastic Swimming Team selection... CIF qualifier... PERSONAL
Kathleen Elizabeth Gore was born on June 15, 1993 in Fullerton, Calif... parents are Ann McLaughlin and Rufus Gore... has two brothers, John and Michael, and one sister, Christine... sister also swam at LMU... chose LMU because the campus was gorgeous and the people were beyond welcoming... a health and human science major.
