Biography
COLLEGE
2025 season marks her first year at LMU.
HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in cross country and track at Elkhorn North High School under coach Jordan Fuglestad. Four-year varsity runner in both sports.
Cross Country
Earned All-State honors in 2024 with a 10th-place finish at the Nebraska Class B State Meet. Four-time state qualifier. Member of the fastest Girls Class B team in Class B history and the second fastest girls team overall in state history. Helped Elkhorn North to the 2023 state runner-up finish and the 2024 Class B state championship. Two-time team captain.
Track & Field
Specialized in distances from 800m through 3200m. Three-time state qualifier. Helped team to the 2022 Nebraska Class B state title and 2024 runner-up finish. Earned multiple All-Conference and All-Area honors across her career.
PERSONAL
Born in Anaheim, Calif., and from Elkhorn, Neb. Biology major. Daughter of Kevin and Stephanie O’Brien. Has two siblings, Kaitlyn and Donovan. Member of National Honor Society, Rotary Club, Academic All-State, and Academic All-Conference.
WHY LMU?
LMU felt like home the moment I visited — it’s where I can chase my goals on the track and in the classroom, all while being back in California.
