Biography

HIGH SCHOOL
Ran cross country and track at Swampscott High School. Four-year varsity letterwinner and two-time team captain in both sports.

Cross Country
Two-time All-Conference honoree and All-State selection as a senior. Placed at the state meet and qualified for all-state as a freshman. Named team MVP in 2022, Most Improved in 2023, and Coaches’ Award recipient in 2024.

Track & Field
Specialized in distance events. Won the 2-mile at the conference indoor meet, placed second at states in the 2-mile, and qualified for the all-state indoor meet. Finished second in the 5k at the Weston Twilight Invitational. Posted best marks of 11:38 in the 2-mile, 19:04 in the 5k, and 5:34 in the mile. Earned All-Conference honors as a freshman and senior, and All-State honors as a senior.

PERSONAL
Born in Boston, Mass. Psychology major. Daughter of John and Margaret Heil. Has one sibling, Nathaniel. Volunteer experience includes gardening club, Unified Track events, and local community work. Academic honors include AP Scholar with Distinction, French Honor Society, and High Honor Roll.

I love the team atmosphere, it has great academics for my major and its location is perfect.
