Morgan Stuart joins the LMU coaching staff in the fall of 2013. Stuart comes to LMU after a one-year stint on the UC Riverside coaching staff. At Washington, Stuart was a three-time Pac-10 honorable mention selection, and helped the Huskies win the 2009 NCAA Women[apos]s College World Series. She was named to the World Series All-Tournament Team that year after setting a WCWS record with four doubles and tying a record by recording five hits in a single game.
She batted .476 in the six games, with a World Series-high 10 hits in 21 at-bats. Stuart also racked up 16 total bases, one shy of the all-time WCWS record.
In addition to per Pac-10 honorable mention honors, Stuart was as honorable mention Pac-10 All-Freshman team selection in 2008, a two-time Pac-10 Player of the Week during her four-year career and a two-time first team Academic All-Pac-10 honoree. As a senior, she was named to the Capital One Academic All-American District VIII team.
Stuart was a four-year all-league selection at Riverside Poly High School, and was named the Ivy League MVP, first-team all-county and first-team all-state her last two years. She led her team to three consecutive league championships (2004-2006) and to the 2004 CIF Championship.
Stuart spent the summer of 2013 playing for a professional team in Zurich, Switzerland.
