A long-time high school baseball coach in Central California. Tiger had head coaching stints in baseball at his alma mater Selma High School and Lemoore High School. Along with baseball, Tiger also spent time on the gridiron as an assistant football coach for both programs. His most recent high school role was as an assistant at Clovis High baseball where he worked closely with hitters and outfielders. Over the years, Tiger has helped lead teams in both baseball and football to deep playoff runs, along the way capturing league and section titles gaining both state and national recognition.
Before coming to LMU, Tiger was the director of Capa Indoor Hitting Facility in Clovis California. Over the past 8 years he has quietly made a name for himself as a hitting instructor with a list of clients that include numerous MILB and MLB players. While shying away from social media he was able to satisfy client wishes and as he puts it, “stay under the radar” when working with professionals. He has worked with both present and former MILB baseball players such as Mark Karaviotis, Weston Wilson, Chris Mariscal, Preston Scott and Jake Gatewood. He also had the absolute pleasure of working with current MLB players Dominic Smith (New York Mets) and Jason Martin (LA Dodgers). A long list of high-end hitters that range from D1 baseball/softball to Olympic softball members have all entrusted Tiger with instruction. A short stint with LMU in 2021 helped spark serious interest in the game of softball. Tiger was the volunteer assist for the final 5 weeks of the 2021 season.
