Christian Conrad joined the Loyola Marymount University softball staff as the team's pitching coach in December 2020.
"We are excited to have Christian on staff," said Flowers. "His knowledge and passion for the game will make an impact right away. He has been a part of winning traditions and cultures and he will be a great addition not only with our pitchers, but our program as a whole."
Conrad comes to LMU from Florida State University, where he was the volunteer assistant coach, helping develop pitchers and coached first base. Prior to his time at FSU, Conrad was a team facilitator at Athletes Unlimited.
In 2019, Conrad was a batting practice coach for Team. USA Softball U-19, where he assisted the pitchers on the U-19 National Team.
Additionally, Conrad acted as the Ducks' undergraduate assistant, where he assisted former head coach Mike White and former head coach Melyssa Lombardi. During his time at Oregon, Conrad worked with three All-Americans, helped lead the team to two Pac-12 Championships and a No. 1 national ranking in 2018.
