Brooke Christensen joined the LMU Softball coaching staff in the fall of 2018 as a volunteer assistant after a four-year playing career with the Lions that concluded this past spring. Christensen earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at LMU.

Over her four-year collegiate softball career, Christensen played in 113 total games (77 starts) with an overall batting average of .253, 57 hits, 32 runs scored, 29 RBI and seven home runs. In the field she tallied 97 put outs with just three errors. She helped guide LMU to a 2018 Postseason NISC Championship victory as a senior.

Christensen was named to the 2017 All-WCC First Team as a junior after recording career bests in hits (28) and batting average (.292) to go along with 10 RBI, 13 runs scored and two home runs with a perfect fielding percentage on the season. 

A four-year varsity letter winner at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, Christensen was named team captain as a senior. She was an All-Bay League selection in 2012 and 2013 and All-Area and All-CIF in 2013 and she set school records in home runs (7), hits (43) and RBIs (41) during her junior season in 2013.

At the club level she competed for the California Cruisers from 2009-14. She was part of the team that took second place at the Champions Cup in 2011, 2012 and 2013. She was also a member of the So Cal Aztecs in 2007 and the California Raiders in 2008.

Christensen was born on Jan. 16, 1996, in Santa Monica, Calif., to parents are Tammy and Michael Christensen. She has one younger brother, Trey. She has spent time as a volunteer youth softball coach while also volunteering at the Palos Verdes Library.
