A 1997 graduate of Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, CA...a four year softball letterwinner who served as team captain her final two seasons...first team ASA All-American honors in 1997 followed up second team recognition in 1996...a two-time all-CIF honoree...earned all-conference and all-league acclaim all four years...also played three years of basketball.

Christy Leigh Cerecedes was born on Dec. 25, 1978 in Beverly Hills, CA...she is the daughter of Lynne and Salvador Cerecedes...has three siblings - Brandi, Sal Jr., and Adam...roots for the Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Angels...majoring in communications.
