At LMU... 2003... played in 30 games on the year, scoring three goals on 15 attempts... scored in win over UC Santa Cruz in WWPA first round... 2002... played in 12 games as a sophomore... scored eight goals on 25 shots... had a shooting percentage of 32.0... had three steals, three field blocks and one assist... had a hat-trick in win over Claremont (11-7-02)... 2001... saw action in nine games as a true freshman... scored a goal in only shot attempt on the season... added three steals.
High School... A 2000 graduate of El Segundo High School in El Segundo, CA...earned two varsity letters in water polo...captained the team and earned All-Bay League honors his senior year...
Personal... Tyler Swanson was born Feb. 2, 1982 in Inglewood, CA...the son of Ron and Marylee Swanson...has one brother, Troy, a freshman for the Lions this season...a Business major.
