Briefly... Nick Oster enters his third season of competition after redshirting as a freshman in 2001 at LMU...will develop quickly at the college level... looks to continue his development as a two-meter defender... will be a team leader on the young squad...
At LMU... 2003... played in all 31 games... scored four goals on 16 shots... was a strong force in the middle, drawing 30 kick-outs, third most on the squad... added 10 steals... 2002... in first season of competition he played in 14 games, scoring four goals on the year... added six steals and drew seven kick-outs.
High School... A 2001 graduate of Soquel High School in Soquel, CA...valedictorian of his high school class...lettered four times in both water polo and swimming...captained both teams his senior year...named to All-CIF, CCS first team his senior year...
Personal... Nicholas Charles Oster was born on Apr. 14, 1982 in Mountain View, CA...the son of Donald and Catherine Oster...has two brothers, Yoash and Cy, and one sister, Kirsten...a Chemistry major with an ambition to enter the dentistry field.
