Biography

Briefly… Max Walsworth finished his fourth season at LMU in the fall of 2022.
 
2023: Senior 
Played in all 26 games for the Lions… Scored 11 goals and added six assists for nine points… Drew 12 exclusions, recorded 11 steals, and added nine field blocks… Scored two goals and an assist for three points to open the WCC Championships in the win over Air Force (Nov. 17)… Named to the WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention Team… Received ACWPC All-Academic Distinguished Honors.
 
2022: Junior 
Played in all 26 games for the Lions… Scored seven goals and added two assists for nine points… Drew six exclusions, recorded 11 steals, and added nine field blocks… Scored two goals in a game against both Pomona-Pitzer (Sept. 24) and Occidental (Oct. 1)… Named to the WWPA All-Academic Team.
 
2021: Sophomore
Played in all 26 games for the Lions… Totaled four goals and four assists for eight points… Led the Lions with 10 field blocks… Scored twice on two shots against Whittier (9/15/21)… Recorded goals against #17 Air Force (10/9/21) and #4 UC Santa Barbara (10/10/21).
 
2020: Freshman
Played in all 11 games for the Lions… Totaled three shots on the season and added a steal.

Before LMU... Former First Team All-CIF-CSS Max Walsworth is headed to LMU to continue playing water polo. Walsworth already has a decorated career with accomplishments that include representing CCS in the CCS vs. NCS Senior All-Star Game in 2019, placing as runner up in the 2019 CCS Open Division Championship, taking home 10th Place in the Platinum Division of the 2019 US Junior Olympics, competing on the 2019 USAWP Pacific Red Zone Team, receiving the Nick Johnson Inspiration Award at the USAWP National Championships in 2019, earning the Bronze Medal at the 2019 USAWP National Championships, being named a 2019 USAWP Academic All-American, and taking home a co-championship in the 2018 CCS Open Division Championship.
