Highlights At LMU... 2011... played in all 25 games for the Lions, scoring 13 goals with 16 assists, nine steals, six field blocks and 19 kickouts drawn... 2010... played in 11 games before having his season ended with a shoulder injury, and he will have surgery... had four goals in 16 attempts before his season concluded...2009... had a break-out second season for the Lions with 19 goals, 11 assists, 14 kickouts drawn, 15 steals and nine field blocks... played in all 28 game... was a force against rival, scoring seven goals against UCSD on the season, including the game winner in the title game... 2008... played in 28 of 29 games, scoring 14 goals with 19 steals 15 kickouts drawn and seven assists... scored three goals against Harvard (10/4/08) and UC San Diego (10/25/08)...

Prior to LMU... graduated from Southern High school in Harwood, Maryland, in 2007... a three-year letterwinner for Mike Schofield... Schlegel was a four-time All-Eastern League selection as well as becoming a National Cadet and Youth Team member. He was a member of the National Age Group All-Tournament Team in 2006 while playing for Navy WPC... also swam and played lacrosse...

Personal... Max Hartge Schlegel was born in Annapolis, Maryland, and he is the son of Nancy and Nicholas Schlegel... he has two brothers... active in volunteering during high school... worked for the Davidson swim team, organized food and toy drives... will major in Athletic Training.
