Biography
Briefly… Luke Chandler is entering his fourth season at LMU in 2021 after redshirting in 2018.
2020: Redshirt Sophomore
Played in all 11 games… Scored three goals on 15 shots and added four assists for seven points… Recorded six steals on the year, including three in a game against #5 Pepperdine (Feb. 28, 2021).
2019: Redshirt Freshman
Played in all 26 games… Scored 11 goals on 31 shots and added 14 assists for 25 points… Scored two goals and two assists for four points to open the So Cal Invitational against #4 Pacific (Sept. 27)… Later in that tournament, hit a career-high five points with two goals and three assists against #9 UC Davis (Sept. 28)… Totaled two goals, two assists, and a season-high two steals in the home win over Occidental (Nov. 9)… Recorded five steals
2018: Freshman
Served a redshirt season.
Before LMU… Chandler attended Jesuit High School, where he was a four year letterman, all conference three times, an all American senior year, a two time section champion and an ODP national champion. He also won a bronze medal in the 2016 Junior Olympics.
Personal... Luke Chandler was born in Sacramento, California to Gary Chandler and Carole Kenney. He has one older sister, Lexey, who played water polo at Wagner College. He is a liberal studies major.
