Highlights at LMU...2012... became a force for the Lions, earning All-American and First-Team All-WWPA honors... was second on the team in goals with 39, drawing 42 kick outs with nine steals and 11 field blocks... had 10 games with multiple goals, including a career-best five goals in the win over Santa Clara (9/29/12)... had three goals, including the game winner over UC Davis (10/26/12) on the road... 2011... scored 25 goals in playing all 25 games, finishing with a shooting percentage of 55.6 percent... added 11 steals and 24 kickouts drawn...scored in bunches on the season, scoring in 12 games with nine of those going for multiple goals... had three goal games against Redlands (9/3/11), UC San Diego (9/22/11), Princeton (10/2/11), and Long Beach St. (11/12/11)... 2010... played 16 games as a true freshman... scored eight goals in 13 shots, including two goals at the WWPA championships... he also scored a key goal in the Lions[apos] overtime win at Long Beach State...had a pair of hat-tricks on the season, the first against La Verne (Sept. 5) and the other against Chapman (Sept. 16)...

Prior to LMU... graduated Neuqua Valley HS in 2009... was a second-team All-American as a senior and was a four-time All-Conference selection...

Personal... John Richard Mikuzis was born on Feb. 9, 1991 in Naperville, Ill... he is the son of Nina and John Mikuzis... he has a younger sister... he is a Political Science major.
