Biography

Briefly… Denzel Tate finished his second season at LMU in 2023.
 
2023: Sophomore
Scored 14 goals and added 14 assists for 28 points… Recorded 16 steals… Went 13-14 in sprints… Scored two goals against both George Washington (Sept. 15) and #16 CBU (Sept. 30)… Totaled three steals against #5 Pepperdine (Oct. 15).
 
2022: Freshman
Scored six goals and added one assist for seven points… Recorded six steals… Scored three goals against La Verne (Sept. 10) and two goals in the season opener against Occidental (Sept. 3)… Totaled two steals and a field block in the conference win over Fresno Pacific (Sept. 15).
 
Before LMU... Joins the Lions after playing four seasons of water polo and three seasons of swim at Mira Costa High School…  Son of Pete and Jane Tate... Has one brother, Memphis... Honor Roll in High School... Competed for TWPC 2016-2022.
