Briefly… David Carrasco is finished his third season at LMU in 2022 after transferring in 2019 and sitting out in 2020.
2022: Redshirt Senior
Named the WWPA Player of the Year and to the All-WWPA First Team at the conclusion of the season after finishing second in the conference with 79 goals, eighth in assists with 41, and third in total points with 120… Played all 26 games and led the Lions with 162 shots at a .488 shot percentage… Second in the conference with 51 steals… Recorded 21 multi-goal games including six games of five or more goals… Scored eight goals against both Cal Lutheran (Oct. 1) and Air Force (Oct. 15)… Recorded double-digit points with 10 in the games against Air Force (Oct. 15) and #13 UC San Diego (Oct. 29)… Closed out the season with a five-assist performance against Santa Clara (Nov. 20) in the WWPA Championships… Recorded 11 games of three or more steals… Totaled four steals in the conference wins against Concordia (Sept. 8) and #13 UC San Diego (Oct. 29)… Recorded six field blocks in the regular season finale against #6 Long Beach State (Nov. 10)… Named to the WWPA All-Tournament Team after totaling seven goals, seven assists, five steals, and 14 points over the three games… Named to the WWPA All-Academic Team.

Named to the All-WWPA First Team at the conclusion of the season after recording 34 goals, leading the Lions with 36 assists, and totaling 70 points... ACWPC Men's All-America Honorable Mention Selection... Missed the first 13 games of the season due to injury before making an immediate impact in his return to the pool to play the final 13 games of the year... Scored and assisted in every game played, including 10 multi-goal games and 11 multi-assist games... Recorded 10 points with four goals and six assists in his season debut against #T-17 Air Force (Oct. 9)... Scored six goals and added two assists against #17 CBU (Oct. 28)... Accounted for eight more points with four goals and four assists against #9 UC Davis (Nov. 4)... Closed out the season with three goals and six assists in the WWPA Championship third-place game against second-seeded UC San Diego (Nov. 21)... 2019: Sophomore
In his first season on the Bluff, Carrasco played all 26 games for LMU… Finished second in the country with 142 points after scoring 69 goals and finishing first in the WWPA and second in the country with 73 assists… Finished first in the WWPA and tied for sixth in the country with 52 steals… Averaged 2.81 assists per game, 5.46 points per game, and 2.00 steals per goal to lead the conference… Finished with a .763 sprint winning percentage, going 29-9 to start quarters… Totaled 10 points on three separate occasions: His first conference game at Fresno Pacific (Sept. 21) with six goals and four assists, a home win over Navy (Oct. 6) with six goals and four assists, and in a conference win over (RV) Santa Clara (Oct. 17) with a season-high seven goals and three assists… Recorded six assists as part of eight-point games in wins against #14 Princeton (Sept. 28) and Concordia (Nov. 2)… Recorded five steals in each month of the season, against #10 UC Davis (Sept. 8), Navy (Oct. 6), and #11 UC Davis (Nov. 7)… Named to the All-WWPA First Team.
