Both the LMU men’s and women’s water polo programs have added Kyle Nadel to their respective coaching staffs. Nadel is a former Division I water polo player at Santa Clara, and most recently has coached at Loyola High School and Trojan Water Polo Club.
Nadel is familiar with the area, having served as the Assistant Varsity Coach at Loyola High School since 2019, as well as the Head JV Coach since 2020. At Trojan Water Polo Club, based in Manhattan Beach, Nadel was the Head Coach for the 16u Boys team and has worked with a multitude of age groups for both boy’s and girl’s teams.
While in college, Nadel was named the Team Captain at Santa Clara, where he won many academic awards including WWPA All-Academic and NCAA Academic All-American. Nadel was also named CWPA All-Academic while earning his Master’s in Nutrition at Columbia University.
Nadel will begin coaching this fall with the men’s 2021 season being his first at LMU.
