2026 SEASON (LMU) 
Transfer student joining the Lions for the 2026 season.

2024-25 SEASON (MARQUETTE) 
Played primarily at number 2 singles with occasional appearances at number 1 singles under Head Coach Judson Shaufler in the Big East Conference. Received the Most Improved Player Award and was nominated for Rookie of the Year at Marquette University.

HIGH SCHOOL 
Graduated from Washington High School in June 2023. Played number 1 singles for three years under Head Coach Carl Bullard in the Mission Valley Athletic League. Earned varsity letters as a sophomore and senior. Named All-League/Conference as a sophomore and senior, and All-City/All Area as a senior. During his senior year in 2023, received the Most Valuable Player Award and Most Inspirational Player Award. Became the Singles NCS (North Coast Section) champion from Fremont, California for the first time in history and the first tennis player to ever win NCS from Washington High School. Was the first NCS Boys winner for any sport from Washington High School since 1996. Received Athlete of the Year Award for his entire high school and was named MVAL's Men's Singles Champion. Posted a perfect 18-0 season individually. Led his tennis team to the semifinals of the team NCS tournament for the first time in history during his senior year.

PERSONAL 
Grew up in Fremont, California and intends to major in Finance. Parents are Shazia Dean and Saad Ahmad, who played men's tennis at North Carolina Central University (1991-1992) and received the Most Improved Player Award.

WHY LMU? 
"I chose LMU because of the great competition the WCC Conference has to offer/the stacked competition in the Southwest Region. The tennis coaches at LMU are great for player development and I know they can help take my game to the next level. The location is amazing too, along with the academics."
