2025 SEASON (LMU)
Played primarily at number 3 singles, posting a 10-7 record. Recorded wins against UC Riverside (6-2, 6-0), New Mexico State (6-4, 6-0), Grand Canyon (6-1, 6-4), Cal Poly (7-5, 7-5), Utah (6-3, 6-1), UC Irvine (6-4, 6-4), Yale (6-3, 6-2), Dartmouth (6-2, 6-2), Pacific (1-6, 6-2, 6-3), and Saint Mary's (6-2, 6-2). In doubles, competed primarily at number 2 and 3 positions, posting an 11-3 record with partners Sebastian Nothhaft, Arthur Pantino, and Alex Padro. Notable doubles victories include wins against Arizona State (6-4), Grand Canyon (6-4), Cal Poly (6-4), Utah (6-4), BYU (6-4), UC Irvine (6-4), Dartmouth (7-5), Santa Clara (6-4), UCSB (6-2), San Diego (6-0), and Gonzaga (6-3).
JUNIOR/INTERNATIONAL CAREER
Ranked number 1 in the U18 rankings in El Salvador and reached the Top 80 in the ITF Junior Circuit. Named Best Junior Athlete of the Year for El Salvador in 2023 and 2024. Represented El Salvador in international play since 2023 and served as the number 2 player for the Davis Cup Team. Won doubles matches in Davis Cup with Marcelo Arevalo, the number 1 doubles player in the ATP Rankings. Won the JB100 Central American Championship in 2023. Played five years in the ITF Junior Circuit.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from The Oaks Private School in December 2024. Also attended Colegio Lamatepec from 2012-2022. Competed in the ITF Junior Circuit and for the Davis Cup Team.
PERSONAL
Grew up in San Salvador, El Salvador and intends to major in CBA Management. Parents are Jessenia Elizabeth Olivares and Cesar Augusto Cruz Sorto. Has one brother, Andres.
