Briefly... Jake Sarnoff finished his four-year career with a 73.2 stroke average... finished with 25 top-20 finishes in his career, including eight top-five... played in the SCGA Amateur Championship in July of 2009... won Pasadena City Golf Championship in 2011 after finishing second in 2010... played in 100th California State Amateur Championship at the Olympic Club in southwest San Francisco, June 20-25, 2011... qualified for the PGA Tour's Reno-Tahoe Open in 2012... Graduated in May of 2012

LMU Highlights...2011-12... finished final season third on the team with a 73.9 stroke average... finished tied for fifth at the Cabo Collegiate with a two-under 211, shooting a pair of 69's... 2010-11... was named first-team All-WCC after placing in a tie for seventh at the WCC Championships with a three-round 218... played in 10 tournaments on the season, finishing with a 73.1 stroke average in 29 rounds to lead the Lions... named Southland Golf Magazine golfer of the month for May 2011... had six top-20 finishes, three of which were in the top-5... that included a win in the final tournament of the season, hitting a career-best 208 to finish eight-under par to win the Braveheart Classic... he finished with rounds of 67, 69 and 72 to take first in the field of 85... he also finished tied for fifth with a three-under par 141 at the Wolf Pack Classic and in a tie for second with a three-round 215 at the Folino Invitational... 2009-10... played in all 11 tournaments of the 2009-2010 season and finished in the top-20 seven times with four top-10 finishes...he led the team with a stroke average of 73.1...best finish was a the Braveheart Classic where he finished -4 with rounds of 72, 69, and 71 to take 2nd place out of 90 competitors...he finished the season at the 2010 WCC Championships in a tie for 17th place with a 230...had three rounds under 70 on the season.... 2008-09... the true freshman played in every event for the Lions and led the team in stroke average at 72.7... he also led the Lions in top-20 finishes with eight and also had the lowest round of the season with a 66 at the Sycuan Collegiate Invitational, he finished tied for 11th with a 211... was third on the team in rounds under par with 14... his best finish was a seven-under 209 at the Bill Cullum Invitational, placing him fourth, his lone top-five finish on the season... he had another top-10 finish with a tie for sixth at the USF Triumph, shooting a 216... he finished tied for 19th with a 219 at the 2009 WCC Championships... had four rounds under 70 on the season.

High School... Sarnoff, a 2008 graduate of Mira Costa, is a three-time first-team All-South Bay and four-time All-Bay League selection. In 2006 he helped his team win CIF and then a year later he won the 2007 CIF individual championship. He posted an 11-under 133 to set the Bay League record. Sarnoff finished the Oak Park Tournament at North Ranch tied for first with a 71 and has had further success playing over the summer. In 2007 he tied for seventh at the Tomato Bank Southern California Classic with rounds of 71, 72 and 70 (total of 213). He also finished tied for second at the Hami Bank Junior Open at Robinson Ranch Country Club with rounds of 74, 67 and 74 - good for another 213. All told, he has a win, four top-five finishes, eight top-10 and eight top-20 on his resume.

Personal... Jake Issac Sarnoff was born on April 24, 1990 in Santa Monica, CA, and is the son of Sandy and Bret Sarnoff... did volunteer service with the Venice City Council... has a brother...a Sociology major.
