Finished second on the team with a 72.77 stroke average across 30 rounds and 10 events...Was the only LMU golfer in 2016-17, and the 24th golfer in program history, to win a tournament event when he shot a career-best 71-68-70--209 to tie for first at the Ping Cougar Classic and finish 7-under... Also finished under par at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 17-18, 2016) with his 71-71-72--214 and at the GCU Invitational (Mar. 17-18, 2017) with his 71-68-70--209...2015-16... finished junior campaign playing in 24 rounds and appearing in eight events... finished with a stroke average of 76.29... best finished was 16th at the Del Walker Intercollegiate (3/1/16), posting a two-over 212... it equalled his best three-round score from his freshman season... had two of his best rounds of his career, shooting a 68 in the first round and then a career-best 67 in the third round... 2014-15... finished sophomore season playing in 25 rounds, appearing in nine events... finished with a 76.72 stroke average... finished tie for 30th at the Saint Mary's Invitational (9/16/14) and another tie at 30th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (2/22/15) in a field of 128... best round was a 72, twice... 2013-14... played in 11 tournaments, posting a stroke average of 75.4 over 33 rounds of golf... best finishes came in the spring season... starting with a tie for 13th out of 69 golfers at The Farms Collegiate Invite (2/11/14), shooting a three-round 220, hitting rounds of 73, 73, and 74... finished tied for 10th of 128 golfers with a four-under 212 at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (2/23/14), shooting rounds of 72, 71 and 69... The 69 was his career-low... finished tied for 28th with a 227 at the WCC Championships...

HIGH SCHOOL... graduated from Loyola High School in 2013... helped team win CIF Divisional Championship in 2012 and 2013... won Mission League Championship all four seasons of high school (2010-13)... earned All-Mission League as a sophomore and senior... was team captain for coach Robert Gorr as a junior and senior...

PERSONAL... Gary "Blake" Meek was born in Glendale, Calif., on Feb. 6, 1995 and is the son of Jacqueline and Gary Meek...has a younger brother... a Finance major.
