High School... He graduated from Loyola High School in 2008 with a 3.6 GPA and played all four years for coach Tom Goepel. Finished with a 74.03 average and was a two-time all-league performer. In his senior season he was named the team captain and led the team in scoring average as a junior and senior. Waldron is no stranger to top-five finishes, placing first at the SCPGA event at Whittier Narrows with a four-under 68, a second place at the IJGT event at Temecula Creek Inn with rounds of 71 and 73, a second place at the Cal State Junior Amateur Qualifier at Simi Hills Golf Course with a three-under 68, a third place at the IJGT event at Pala Mesa Resort with a pair of rounds at 75 and fifth place at the SCPGA at Los Coyotes CC with rounds of 76 and 71...

Personal... Andrew Jon Waldron was born on April 25 1990 in Burbank, Calif., and is the son of Michelle and Jon Waldron. He has a sister. He is a Communications major.
