2016 Women's Cross Country WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention … Competed in three cross country races … Finished 10th at 22:52 at the WCC Preview (Sept. 17) … Placed fourth at the NCAA Regional Preview with a time of 20:50.3 (Oct. 1).

Junior (2015-16)
In cross country... WCC All-Academic honorable mention... competed in six meets... won the individual title at the mark Covert Classic (Sept. 5), racing the 5k course in 17:48.79... personal best 5k time of 16:45.6 came at the Capital Cross Challenge (Oct. 3)... personal best 6k time was 20:43.8, set at the Santa Clara Invitational (Oct. 17)... placed 24th overall at the West Coast Conference Championships (Oct. 31), finishing the 6k course in 22:07.0... finished 125th at the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 13) in 22:34.4.

Sophomore (2014-15)
In cross country...competed in six meets... season best 5k time came in the first meet of the year, an 18:18.4 finish at the Mark Covert Classic... placed 20th overall at the West Coast Conference Championships, finishing the 6k course in a season best 20:50.7... placed 62nd overall at the NCAA West Region Championship in 21:32.6... In track... set the LMU all-time record in the 800m with a 2:09.73 finish at the Oxy Invitational (May 9)... qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary with that mark, placing 39th overall... other best time in an official meet was 4:23.71 in the 1,500m at the Portland Twilight (May 17)... that time would rank No. 4 on the LMU all-time list.

At Lamar
Competed in cross country and track during the 2013-14 season... team won the Southland Women's Cross Country Championship in 2013... was named Southland Conference Freshman of the Year for Indoor Track... won the Southland Conference DMR and mile for indoor track... Dean's List.

Deakin University
Ran for Knox Athletics Club.

Caulfield Grammar School
Competed in both cross country and track... also participated in the Australian Junior National Championships every year... held personal records of 2:12 in the 800 meter run and 4:34 in the 1,500... also earned a number of awards for service work.

Kayla de Bondt was born on January 4, 1994 in Leongatha, Australia... daughter of Con and Deanna de Bondt... has three siblings, Dana, Jayde and Sarah... Political Science major at LMU.
