Creative Media Team (Athletics Department) AY 2425:
The LMU Athletics Department is seeking a creative and enthusiastic student worker to join our team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of creative tasks, contributing to the promotion and coverage of LMU Athletics. Your work will include supporting game-day operations, producing graphics, capturing photos and videos, and helping to manage content for our social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and designing graphics for various platforms, including social media, websites, and in-game displays.
- Capture photos and videos during games, practices, and other athletic events.
- Contribute to the production and editing of video content for promotional and coverage purposes.
- Support game-day operations, which may include working early mornings or late evenings, depending on the event schedule.
- Help manage and schedule social media posts to promote upcoming games, events, and highlight athletic achievements.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms.
- Provide in-game and post-game coverage to enhance the visibility of LMU Athletics.

Broadcast Crew
Assist in live production of athletic events. Work alongside industry professionals. No experience Necessary! Work as a Director, Camera Operator, Graphics Operator, or many other positions to help athletics broadcast over 130 games per year on ESPN+! We will train you in industry standard tools and practices. For televised games our crew works alongside crews from industry leaders like CBS Sports and ESPN.

Sit front row at Division I LMU sporting events with work as a scoreboard operator, stats assistant, Clock Operator, or many other positions to help athletics host over 150 games per year! We will train you in industry standard tools and practices.

This position is a student employee job that you can apply for. With this job, you will have several different responsibilities, which may include in-office assignments and/or working a sporting event.
Game day responsibilities:
- Execute and assist with all marketing & in-venue promotions for assigned sports
- Manage and oversee pregame playlists, in-game sound effects, and in-game music for assigned sports
- Oversee marketing and gameday fan experience efforts for assigned sports.
- Helps develop & coordinate marketing efforts for all LMU sports.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of game promotions and special events.
- Help marketing efforts at Wellness Wednesday events
- Assist in the oversight and management of fellow student workers & interns.
- Create promotional signs, graphics, and social media messages for assigned sports.
- Design and assist with the distribution of email newsletter for assigned sports.
- Primary contact for on-campus student marketing initiatives.
- Assist with creation and execution of marketing plans geared specifically towards students through social media and other efforts.
- Serve as gameday liaison for halftime groups and National Anthem singers/ROTC, performers used for LMU sporting events.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
