If you run CROSS COUNTRY AND THE 800m OR LONGER IN TRACK…
- Fill out our recruiting questionnaire (link: https://questionnaires.armssoftware.com/9fb57b7e3de4)
- Email Head Coach, Chloe Curtis (chloe.curtis@lmu.edu) with your contact information.
- Take a look at our entire Information Sheet to understand the structure of our program (distance-only), type of athletes we actively recruit (standards), and what we can offer you as both a student and an athlete.
- NOTE: NCAA rules prohibit us from having contact with prospective student-athletes until after June 15 of your junior year.
- After that date, we will be able to contact you via email, permitted to call and/or text you and have face-to-face contact on our campus only provided it is not during an NCAA Dead Period. You can obtain more information about a Dead Period and the associated dates at http://www.ncaa.org/student-athletes/resources/recruiting-calendars
- We cannot have face-to-face contact off campus until August 1 going into your senior year.
- The NCAA DOES allow you to initiate contact us (via phone or email) at any time, but we cannot initiate the contact, nor can we return the phone call/email.
If you are a SPRINTER, JUMPER, HURDLER, THROWER, MULTI-EVENTER…
- We are a program that is focused entirely on cross country in the fall and the distance events on the track in the spring.
- We do not carry any sprinters, jumpers, hurdlers or throwers on our roster.

- Provide a copy of your unofficial transcripts and test scores via email (chloe.curtis@lmu.edu)
- Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center at: https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/
- If you are planning on transferring from another institution, you must first enter the Transfer Portal before we can communicate with you.
- Come see us…visit campus, take a tour and meet the Coaching Staff (for more information, contact Coach Curtis).
PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS SINCE 2006…
- Tara Erdmann participated in her first of two OLYMPIC TRIALS appearances under the LMU jersey.
- Tara Erdmann (six times), Danielle Shanahan and Weston Strum were ALL-AMERICANS at LMU.
- Lions have made 53 NCAA Division I Championship appearances.
- Taken at least ONE individual to NCAA Division I Championships in Cross Country or Track & Field every year since 2006.
- Five (5) individual West Coast Conference Champions.
