Dear Lions,
College athletics provides tremendous opportunities for young people. At LMU, we will continue to strive to graduate student-athletes ready to make an impact in the world while competing for championships and excelling in the classroom and community.
Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) is long overdue and provides opportunities that were not previously available. Many student-athletes have taken advantage of NIL, primarily as ambassadors of certain companies. Recently, the NCAA offered additional guidance on how schools can be involved with student-athletes' NIL activities.
We are committed to assisting to the extent possible to maintain a competitive advantage in all sports.
Recently, thanks to the generosity of a donor, a "collective" organization has launched for the benefit of our student-athletes. We ask you to consider how you can help, as the website contains much more information:
Should you want to make a tax-deductible gift, you can continue to support our student-athletes through the Lions Athletic Fund, responsible for building a passionate community of supporters dedicated to the long-term health and success of our program.
LMU Athletics thanks you for your continued support.
RTWG,
Craig Pintens
Athletic Director
