2014 Wells Fargo Week of Madness
Midnight Madness has become a traditional part of the fall semester at LMU, growing into one of the largest student events of the year. Gersten Pavilion gets packed with more than 3,000 students celebrating the start of the new basketball season. From a simple Friday late-night event, this has grown into a week long celebration, that in 2014 is shaping up to be one of the craziest ever. Here is a detailed look at what is on tap for the 2014 Wells Fargo Week of Madness (and check back often as information gets added throughout the month leading up to Madness).

MONDAY, OCT. 13 - Represent your Organization
#DunlapChat
LMU.edu - 7 pm
Details: LMU Magazine is pleased to host its first-ever live online Q&A with a University influencer as we welcome men's basketball Head Coach Mike Dunlap '80 from 7-8 p.m. PDT, on Monday, Oct. 13. Lion fans will have an opportunity to ask Coach Dunlap questions about leading his alma mater's basketball program into a new era with the start of the 2014-15 season.

The first 10 chat participants whose questions are posed to Coach Dunlap will receive a pair of tickets to the season-opening LMU Classic presented by the Office of International Students and Scholars, Nov. 14-15, in Gersten Pavilion. Fans can also tweet questions using #DunlapChat.

TUESDAY, OCT. 14 - WHITE OUT DAY - WEAR YOUR WHITE
LMU Convo Hour with Men's Soccer

LMU Men's Soccer vs. UC Santa Barbara
Sullivan Field - 7 pm
Details: LMU men's soccer takes on perennial power UC Santa Barbara in the Madness Week PACK THE STANDS WHITE OUT. Free white t-shirts to all in attendance (first 1,000) as the Lions look to break the all-time attendance record. In addition, a special give-away for students - LMU HEADPHONES - to the first 400 that attend the game. There is plenty more for this one, as the defending West Coast Conference champs look to climb up the national rankings.
THURSDAY, OCT. 16 - WEAR YOUR PINK

Men's Water Polo vs. Redlands
Burns Aquatics Center - 3 pm
Details: Join the men's water polo team for just their second home game of the season as they take on Redlands. Cheer on the nationally-ranked Lions (12th as of Sept. 19) in their home pool. LMU Madness
Gersten Pavilion - 8:30 pm
Details: The annual tip-off to the basketball season at Gersten Pavilion. Join the LMU basketball programs for the annual showcase to start the new basketball season. A chance to meet the team, interact in team competitions - including a dunk contest and three-point shootout. There will be a dance competition featuring LMU sport teams, special giveaways, the LMU cheer team, the LMU pep band and LMU dance club showcase. Come straight from the men's soccer game.

Women's Volleyball vs. Santa Clara

Details: Come cheer on the nationally-ranked women's volleyball team (ranked 25th as of Oct. 6) as they continue to build on their best start in program history. Unbeaten through 10 games, the Lions host Santa Clara in a key West Coast Conference match-up.
