2016 Women’s Cross Country WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention … Competed in five cross country races … Finished 19th at 23:30 at the WCC Preview (Sept. 17) … Claimed 20th at the Bronco Invitational with a time of 21:08.6 (Oct. 15) … Took 35th at the WCC Championships at 22:51.1 (Oct. 28).
Sophomore (2015-16)
In cross country... did not compete in a meet during the 2015 season.
Freshman (2014-15)
In cross country... competed in four meets... personal best time in the 6k was 19:00.21 at the Vanguard Invitational... In track... best times were 4:53.23 in the 1,500m at the LBSU Beach Invite (Apr. 18) and 10:43.90 in the 3,000m at the West Coast Quadrangular (Feb. 21).

Ran four years of cross country at Oakmont High School... team captain her junior and senior year... two-time All-San Joaquin/Capital Valley Conference selection... named Sophomore of the Year in 2011... team MVP in 2010 and 2012... Marisa Renee Carino was born Sept. 26, 1996, in Sacramento, CA... mother is Mimi Carino... has one older sister, Britney, and one younger brother, Tyler... service work has included Link Crew Leader (lead a group of incoming freshmen and guided their transition into high school), private math tutor, Feed My Starving Children (worked with a team to pack over 500 bags of dry food, which were shipped to third world countries), Relay for Life (team raised over $3,000) and Habitat for Humanity... biology major at LMU.
