2022
Redshirt Senior… Played in all 28 games… Led the team with 53 goals… Added 12 assists and finished second on the Lions with 65 points… Recorded 20 steals… Finished the year with 18 multi-goal games… Scored five goals in the games against #7 UC Irvine (Feb. 17) and #19 Princeton (Mar. 11)… Scored four goals at #12 UC San Diego (Mar. 27)… Named First Team All-GCC... Named GCC All-Academic.

Redshirt Junior… Did not play in the shortened 2022 season.

Junior… Took a redshirt season and did not participate in a game.
 
2019
Sophomore... Played in all 31 games… ranked ninth this season nationally with 79 goals after leading the GCC in that category… led the conference with 105 points… Added 26 assists and 23 steals… Scored six goals and seven points against Hawaii (Feb. 2) in the UCLA mini-tournament… Scored five goals against both Pomona-Pitzer (Jan. 26) and UC Irvine (Feb. 23)… Scored four goals in two of the three GCC Tournament games, against Cal Baptist (Apr. 26) and Pacific (Apr. 28).
 
At Saint Francis…
2018
Freshman… Led the Red Flash with 110 goals on just 175 shot attempts (.629%), while also recording a team-high 44 steals… The first All-American in Saint Francis history.
 
Greek National Team… 2nd Position- Silver Medal at FINA World Women's Junior Water Polo Championships (U20) 2017… 3rd Position- Bronze Medal at European Water Polo Championships Women's U19 2016… 6th Position at FINA World Women's Youth Water Polo Championship U18 2016.
 
BEFORE LMU... 
Graduated Yannopoulos School in June 2017… Competed Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni from 2010-2017… 2nd Position-Silver Medal at Euroleague's Final Four 2014… 2nd Position-Silver Medal at LEN Trophy Final Four 2016… MVP… Top scorer (24 goals) and best player of the age of 14 with N.C.V. at Greek Water Polo National Championship U14 2013… Best All-Around Player of final 8 voted by coaches at Greek Water Polo National Championship U17 2017… 

PERSONAL... Marialena Seletopoulou was born in Athens Greece… Is the daughter of Dimitris Seletopoulos and Despina Douka... Both parents played water polo collegiately in Greece… Father, Dimitris, is a 3-time Olympian with the Greek National Team (Los Angeles 1984, Seoul 1988 and Barcelona 1992)… Has one sister, Ioanna... major is computer science.
