Starting second baseman was named First Team All-WCC... appeared in 42 of the Lions' 47 games... second on the team with a .315 batting average... collected 35 hits, including two doubles and four home runs... also scored 14 runs and had 26 RBIs... was named WCC Player of the Week on March 24 after hitting .500 (10-for-20), with one home run, 10 RBIs, four runs, a .650 slugging percentage and .565 on base percentage in a seven-game stretch... tallied nine multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4 performances versus Canisius (Mar. 20)... she also had three RBIs in that game... season-high five RBIs off two hits versus Dartmouth on Mar. 23...

PCSC Player of the Year... first team All-PCSC... PCSC Player of the Week on Apr. 30 after going 5-for-12 (.417) with four home runs, eight RBIs and four runs scored in LMU's four-game series against San Diego... also had a .533 on-base percentage and a 1.417 slugging percentage in the four games... started all 52 games played at second base... hit .322 for the season... had 13 doubles and seven home runs... also scored 24 runs and knocked in 27... .546 slugging percentage was second best on the team... had 15 multi-hit games, including two three-hit outings... Earned the starting roll at second base as a rookie... hit .228 with 39 hits, including a pair of doubles and one home run... also scored 29 times and drove in 16 runs... laid down 13 sacrifice hits... first collegiate hit was against UC Davis (Feb. 10) - the Lions' second game of the year... had eight multi-hit games including a 4-for-6 outing against Cal State Northridge (Mar. 24)...

Sterling Alexa Shuster was born July 26, 1992 in Arcadia, California...Daughter of Daina and Mark...has one younger brother Alec and one younger sister, Kirstin...chose LMU for its Division 1 softball program and for the Film Production school...played High School Softball with teammate Stevie Goldstein...also recruited by Boston College and Emerson...a member of the National Charity League, Pasadena Chapter, Shuster has completed over 450 hours of community service with the Ronald McDonald House, Meals On Wheels, the Pasadena Humane Society, LA Food Bank and numerous local elementary schools...earned her Bachelor's degree in Film and Television Production in the spring of 2015... currently pursuing a Master's in Business Marketing...
