Biography

Alicia Brown finished her final softball season as statistically one of the top-10 overall hitters in LMU softball history. She finished with a career batting average of .316. She ranks second all-time in LMU softball history in career doubles with 47, third all time in slugging percentage at .551, fourth all time in RBIs with 126, fifth in On Base Percentage at .394 and total bases at 321, tied for sixth all-time in homeruns with 30, eighth all-time in walks with 69, and ninth all time in assists with 339. She graduates holding the LMU single season record in doubles with 20 and the West Coast Conference single season record of 9 doubles in a single 15 conference season. She also holds the career conference record in doubles with 16. She was a three-time All West Coast Conference Selection, with a career WCC batting average of .327, .400 on base percentage, and a .530 slugging percentage. She is one of only 3 players in LMU softball history to finish her career with 30 or more homeruns and 40 or more doubles (30/40 club), sharing that distinction with LMU softball greats, Sam Fischer and Danielle Kaminaka.

2018 (Senior)
Finished her senior season batting .290 with 12 homeruns and 12 doubles ... Had a .600 slugging percentage and a team-leading 43 RBIs ... Played right field for the first time in her career and made one error in the season and zero errors in conference play ... Hit .366 in conference on her way to another first team all-conference selection ... Hit three grand slams in her senior season, with two coming in the NISC tournament finals ... Part of the team that won the 2018 NISC Championship ... Selected MVP of the NISC Northern Colorado Regional Tournament and was selected to the all-tournament teams for both the regionals and the tournament finals ... Batted .579 overall in the tournament with a 1.474 slugging percentage ... Drove in 16 runs with 5 homeruns, 2 doubles, and 4 singles in just 7 games ... Hit at least one homerun in her last four consecutive games played (5 homeruns in her last 4 games) ... The final at bat of her collegiate career was a grand slam to solidify a 5-0 finals victory over UC Riverside to help LMU win the NISC tournament.

2017 (Junior)
All-WCC Honorable Mention...Started all 51 games she appeared in… Lions third basemen… hit .259 with 37 hits in 143 at bats… had 5 doubles, 3 home runs and a team leading 24 RBIs… Posted 9 multi-hit games… Season best was 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs versus Hartford (Mar. 10)… Had a season high 3 RBIs in two games Utah State (Feb. 12) and Hartford (Mar. 10)… 57 putouts, 119 assists and 7 errors in the field.


2016 (Sophomore)

All-WCC second team ... Set program record with 20 doubles and ranked 11th nationally in doubles per game (0.38) ... Started in 52 of 53 games ... Posted a .388 batting average and led the team with a .687 slugging percentage ... Tallied 16 multi-hit games, including 12 two-hit games, three three-hit games and one four-hit games ... Went 3-for-4 with a home run in season opener against Maryland (Feb. 12) ... Posted a 4-for-4 day with three doubles at BYU (April 9).

2015 (Freshman)
Appeared in 51 of LMU's 54 games... All-WCC First Team selection... starting third baseman... ranked second on the team with a .326 batting average... also fourth in hits (45), second in doubles (10) and tied for second in home runs (7)... held a nine-game hitting streak from Feb. 28-Mar. 10... longest streak on the team for the season... 13 total multi-hit games including eight two-hit games and five three-hit games... twice tallied two-RBIs, twice tallied three-RBIs and knocked in four RBIs on three occasions... reached-base streak of 14 straight games was fourth best on the team...
