Biography
Briefly... Tamas Szego begins his fourth and final season at LMU...outside shooting and ball handling skills will help the offense tremendously ...excellent ability to score...participated with Hungary[apos]s Junior National team in 2001... looking for him to lead the offense as one of the best in possessing the ball.
At LMU... 2002... a team leader as a junior playing in all 32 games... finished with 22 goals on 79 shot attempts (27.8 percent)... added 21 steals and 14 assists... had four multiple-goal games, including two in the WWPA Championships... 2001... finished the season third on the team with 39 goals in 103 attempts... was WWPA All-Conference honorable mention selection... had 20 steals and 14 assists, which was tied for first on the team... 2000... played in all but one game... assisted in 17 goals... shot an outstanding .379, with 39 goals... added six steals to his stats.
High School... A 1999 graduate of Kolcsey Ferenc Gymnasium High School in Budapest, Hungary...played water polo for KSI club team.
Personal... Tamas Szego was born on June 11, 1981 in Budapest, Hungary...the son of Micaly Szego and Katalin Halasi...will major in either business or communication.
