Briefly... Johan Berhof starts his fourth season with LMU tennis...

At LMU...2009-10... went 8-10 overall in singles play... showed a strong play against University of San Diego's Casey Powers, winning the match 6-0, 1-6, 6-1... finished strong, winning his final singles match of the season against UC Irvine's Ryan Mayer in a 6-1, 6-4 defeat... strong 8-3 win in a doubles match with teammate, Geza Bazula, against Gonzaga...

2008-09Went 15-19 in singles play with a winning record of 4-2 in conference play...finished out the season with a conference win over Gavin Leon of Saint Mary[apos]s 6-4, 6-2...played the no. 2, 3, 4 and 5 singles positions for the Lions... in doubles went 8-6 over UC Riverside with partner Geza Bazula...

2007-2008...went 17-20 in Singles and 13-21 in Doubles, went 11-13 in Singles Dual Matches and 8-16 in Doubles Dual Matches...

High School... a 2007 graduate of Katrinelundsgymnasiest in Gothenberg, Sweden...

Johan Carl Berhof was born on July 22, 1988 in Stension, Sweden... the son of Ewa and Thomas Berhof... has an older sister, Anna... chose LMU over San Diego, Arizona, UC Santa Barbara and UC Irvine because of the small classes, location, campus, tennis program and academics...favorite tennis player is Jonas Bjorkman...favorite sports team is Arsenal.
