Went 5-5 with one unfinished match in the shortened season between Courts 1 and 2… Went 4-4 from the top court in singles… Defeated conference opponent Santa Clara in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2… In doubles, finished 4-5 with one unfinished… Won his last two doubles matches of the season from Court 1 with a 7-5 win over UTSA and a 6-3 finish over Utah State.

In their doubles debut together, Mayo and partner Noe Khlif clinched the doubles point for the Illini with a 6-3 win over Michigan State's Ivan Rakic and Colin Harvey in the No. 2 position on Apr. 6… Clinched four doubles points this season - vs. Duke (Feb. 1), at Notre Dame (Feb. 6), vs. Kentucky (Feb. 8), at Michigan State (Apr. 6), and vs. Western Michigan (NCAA First Round - May 3)… Clinched three Illini match victories this season - vs. Duke's Robert Levine (Feb. 1), Purdue's Maksymilian Raupuk (March 24), Michigan's Connor Johnston (Apr. 7).
