Deputy AD Ashley Armstrong Named to Top 100 Rising ADs / Future ADs List

LOS ANGELES – Silver Waves Media has named LMU's Deputy Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Ashley Armstrong to its list of Top 100 Rising ADs / Future ADs List. Armstrong's impact has been felt on the LMU campus since her arrival in August 2019.
 
In her role as LMU's inaugural Deputy Director, Armstrong's serves the department's Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all aspects of the athletic department. Armstrong is a member of the Athletic Director's executive leadership team, manages the day-to-day operations of the athletic department, coordinates the department-wide strategic planning efforts, and represents LMU Athletics on the West Coast Conference Executive Council. She serves as the sport supervisor for women's basketball, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and softball. Her responsibilities include oversight of the senior staff and key areas that include Title IX, facilities, capital projects, game operations, sports medicine, mental health, and sports performance. In addition, Armstrong currently chairs the NCAA Beach Volleyball Committee.
 
Those included in Silver Waves Media's list are considered to be the top rising Athletic Directors and future leaders shaping the next generation of youth sports across America. Through vision, leadership, innovation, and a commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for athletes and families, these individuals are making a lasting impact in their communities and beyond. From established organizations to emerging programs, this recognition highlights those helping define the future of athletics and setting the standard for what comes next.
