LOS ANGELES - LMU's Court 1 Pair of
Anna Pelloia and
Tanon Rosenthal have been named West Coast Conference Pair of the Week, the WCC announced on Monday afternoon. This is the first Pair of the Week Award for the duo, however post have received the weekly recognition multiple times in previous seasons while playing with different partners.
Pelloia and Rosenthal helped LMU complete their second consecutive undefeated season at home. The pair went 3-0 this weekend with all ranked wins from the top court. The weekend opened with a matchup against #3 USC where the duo clinched the dual with a dominant 21-16, 21-13 over the Trojans. On Saturday, the pair opened the day with a 21-16, 21-18 win over #11 Grand Canyon. It was the final game of the regular season that this partnership really showed their excellence. With the dual tied 2-2 and all eyes on the third set of Court 1, Pelloia and Rosenthal came out firing. The pair took down the top pair from the Lopes for the second time in the same day with a big clinch 21-18, 22-24, 15-9.
Pelloia was a two-time WCC Pair of the Week with
Jacinda Ramirez in 2024 and also won the award playing with
Chloe Hooker last season. Rosenthal was named WCC Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week three times as a freshman in 2025.
This is the sixth time this season that an LMU Pair has been recognized over the nine week regular season. Pelloia and Rosenthal join teammates

Magdalena Rabitsch (Feb. 23),
Ellie Davis and
Katie McAlister (Feb. 2 and Mar. 16),
Maja Kruczek and Josefine Schaekel (Mar. 30), and Chloe Hooker and
Ines Piret, (Apr. 6).

#9 LMU enters the conference tournament as the top seed once again.
The tournament will run from April 23-24 at Ocean Park Beach in Santa Monica, Calif. All duals will be streamed live on ESPN+ and fans can watch from the beach at no charge.

The Lions have won each of the last six WCC Championships, and will look to extend their conference-record streak to seven in a row this week. LMU won the conference championship in 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. There was no postseason held in 2020.
