LA JOLLA, Calif., – The LMU men's tennis team fell in a heartbreaker on Sunday afternoon to UC San Diego in La Jolla, Calif.

Arthur Pantino took the point on court two to knot things up. He won in straight sets (7-5, 6-3).
Yassine Smiej gave the Lions a lead after sweeping on court one.
With a 3-2 lead, the Lions would need one of the final two points from court three or court five.

That left court five, where Parra played a three-set thriller. He fought back after dropping the first set 6-1 and won the second 6-3. The deciding set went to the Tritons 6-4.
The Lions are back on the court on February 4 at 12:00 p.m. (PT) at UC Irvine.
