LOS ANGELES – In a top-10 battle, the LMU and CBU men's water polo teams will play for the third and fourth time this season Saturday in Riverside. The #6 Lions (2-2, 1-1 WWPA) will travel for the first time this season for a pair of games against the Lancers (1-1) who have yet to play somebody other than LMU.
The two games will be played from Lancer Aquatics Center at 10:30 a.m., then 2:00 p.m.
The two teams kicked off the season on opening weekend, with LMU winning the conference-counting game, and CBU taking the afternoon match. This Saturday's games will not impact the Western Water Polo Association rankings, and simply be added to each school's overall season record.
LMU's shortened season will be halfway completed by Saturday's end, with only three weekends and four games remaining before the WWPA Championships are set to be played from Mar. 18-20.
The game will be available to stream on the WAC Digital Network. Live stats will be available through theFOSH. Links to both games are now live on the men's water polo
schedule page at LMULions.com.
